Early Detection and Treatment of Glaucoma

Close follow-up of the disease provides a guide for the treating doctor for the best interest of the patient.
We have the most updated machine to test the Visual Field for glaucoma patients in the shortest time ensuring the patient’s cooperation and comfort as well as reliable results.
3D OCT of the nerve and retina gives a detailed image to detect any progression of the disease.
SLT is a new treatment for some types of glaucoma by applying LASER to the angle of the eye which decreases the pressure of the eye and the numbers of drops used by the patient for life and sometimes preventing the decision for a difficult surgery.

Diabetic Eye Disease

By the routine clinical follow-up of diabetic patients as well as using diagnostic and treatment procedures as the 3D OCT and fluorescein angiography to detect and follow-up diabetic changes in the eye to be able to provide the best line of treatment ranging from medical, surgical, or LASER treatment of the retina.
We have a multi spots LASER machine for the treatment of diabetic and other retina diseases which gives a faster and more effective treatment by applying multiple Laser spots in one shot and so finishing the treatment in a fraction of the time.

Refractive Surgery

ZEC offers refractive surgery with the best surgeons using the best machines. Wavelight EX500 is the first Refractive LASER machine of its kind in the whole of the western region ensuring that we stay on top of this Fast-moving technology. This technology allows the performance of topography-guided correction improving not only vision but also the quality of vision.

Femtosecond Laser

This is the most precise way of creating a LASIK flap using Laser instead of a blade making the surgery even safer and results more accurate. Femtosecond LASER is also used for other cornea surgeries as creating the tunnel for Intra-Corneal Rings and the cut for Keratoplasty.

Cataract Surgery

Phacoemulsification uses ultrasound power to remove the cataract through a very small incision that doesn’t need any stitches to close, we have the best machine that helps to reach the same goal using the least ultrasound power possible and so avoiding any damaging effect on the eye. A whole range of replacement lenses can be used to restore vision for far as well as for reading and also to correct astigmatism.

Retina Surgeries

Retina Surgeries

It is performed with the aim of improving the appearance of the eyelids or correcting some functional problems. This surgery can be performed either to beautify and tighten the upper eyelids or to tighten the lower eyelids only or to both. And through it, the surgeon can restore youth and vitality to the area around the eye. Eyelid surgery is performed either by using a laser or through traditional surgery using local anesthesia or general anesthesia to avoid panic and anxiety.

Squint Operations :

Squint surgery is a common procedure that includes weakening, strengthening, or repositioning and working one or more of the external eye muscles that move the eye. The muscles can be tightened or relaxed or changed their location and mode of work by the most qualified specialized surgeons.
